National Screening Unit (NSU) criteria for "priority" women: 

Maori, Pacific, Asian women aged 20-69 years who are due a cervical smear test  or never had a cervical smear test according to the NCSP. Any women over 30 years who have not had a cervical smear test in 5 years.All women must be residents of New Zealand or have a two year work/student visa

Low Cost Services

Low cost cervical health checks are available from Family Planning Clinics  There are eight clinics around Auckland.  The cost is $27 and $5 for community card holders.  Appointments and drop-in available.  Female smear takers and clinics in evenings and Saturday mornings.

Family Doctor Services

Most family doctors and medical centres provide cervical screening contact your clinic for an appointment.
