National Women's Health inpatient, newborn and high risk maternity outpatient services are located on the 9th and 10th floor of Auckland City Hospital in Grafton.
National Women's Health Walk-In Centre and Community outpatient services continue to be provided on the Greenlane site on the 6th floor of the Greenlane clinical centre.
National Women's Health provides comprehensive maternity care with antenatal and postnatal facilities provided at the hospital, and in community clinics. There are approximately 7,500 babies born at National Women's each year. The newborn service cares for premature and sick babies. The service receives 1,600 admissions a year, making it the largest newborn unit in Australasia. It includes the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), the parent infant nursery (PIN), the home care nursing service, paediatric and developmental follow-up.
