Birthcare

Through a partnership arrangement, Birthcare Auckland provides high-quality postnatal care for women and babies who are in good health following the birth experience.

Who can go to Birthcare?

Well women with well babies will be transferred to Birthcare soon after birth. Birthcare is also able to look after women and babies who are making a good recovery after caesarean birth.

Is there a charge?

For a fee, you can choose to upgrade to a private room with ensuite, fridge, television and an upgraded menu. Private rooms can accommodate your partner for overnight stays. Check the schedule of charges on the Birthcare website.
