Our Mātāpono that guides our kaupapa is:

Atuatanga – Allows you a space for connecting to Atua that enables a balance and peace

Rangatiratanga – we promote wāhine led care that enables mauri ora by values of tika and pono in an authentic and genuine approach

Kaitiakitanga – we will create a safe birth space for you as true guardians of birth

Whānaungatanga – you and your whānau are the centre of care as we acknowledge the importance of your whakapapa

Manaakitanga – Aroha is the cornerstone of our approach that enables trust, respect and support by actively listening to you

Taōnga – in our kete we offer you aho (muka), kawakawa, pounamu, īpu whenua, hapu wananga, mirimiri, rongoa, wahakura, matauranga, wānanga.

Ko wai mātou….

Kali Patterson-Trubuhovich (Ngati Kahu), Lisa Nathan (Te Aupouri, Te Rarawa) & Emily Watt (Ngati Ranginui) are our continuity midwives, providing antenatal, labour & birth and postnatal cares.

Katarina Komene (Nga Puhi, Te Arawa) & Mahia Winder (Ngati Tuwharetoa, Ngati Raukawa) provide Complex and high risk specialist midwifery antenatal and postnatal cares.

Our Kaihautu are Annmarie Taiapa-Johnson (Ngati Porou, Ngati Awa, Ngati Kahungunu o te Wairoa), Nicole Pihema (Nga Puhi, Te Rarawa) and Paula Ryan (Ngati Whakaue, Te Arawa)
